In the cathedral, various performers
frequently give concerts, and the visitors can listen to not only organ music,
but also choral and popular music.
In September 2018, the International
Liepāja Organ Music Festival is going to celebrate its seventeenth
anniversary. The festival concerts gather organ music fans every year - not
only adults from the neighbourhood and far away, but also the younger
generation. Recently special concerts for children have become a tradition.
Children come to them, bringing along self-made entrance tickets- drawings or
poems, dedicated to the grand instrument. Due to restoration works during 2018 there can be interruptions in usual concert schedule in the
cathedral. Please find the actual list of cultural events in Liepaja HERE
